Validation Guarantee
We stand behind our software--and your exam
For exams built with the recommended settings below, Exam Design will provide support
to defend the exam's validity for the purpose in which it was intended.
There are three easy steps to qualify for the ExamDeveloper Validation Guarantee:
1. Meet ExamDeveloper Project Requirements
All organizations interested in the Validation Guarantee must have a valid license
for all ExamDeveloper roles. The "Min #" indicated below are the minimum number
of subject matter experts (SMEs) that must actively contribute to the exam development.
The project settings must also meet the other requirements listed below:*

for the duration of the project.
2. Submit Validation Documentation
Following the completion of the project, the organization needs to complete the
online Validation Information Form. This form collects information about your organization
and the job being assessed. Specifically, questions about the examination's purpose,
qualifications of the subject matter experts, and description of how the examination
will be administered. This form will be analyzed by one of our testing experts
and included in the
Validation Report.
3. Purchase Validation Report Option
In order to provide evidence of an examination's validity, it is important that
every step in the development process be documented and analyzed for integrity.
The validation report is instrumental in establishing the validity of the hiring decision. A
typical validation report will include detailed documentation on the process followed
during the project, interpretation of any data that was collected during the project,
and implications for the validity of the exam. This type of report is also needed (1)
when applying for ANSI or NCCA accreditation of your examination program, or (2)
whenever legal issues are raised about the examination results.
